2 years ago, we got an allotment.... it was very overgrown so we put a carpet over it to kill the weed,grass etc. When we went up to dig it over begining of last year we noticed that someone else had been there, we asked our neighbour if they'd seen who and was told someone had been working it for a month or so.... called the council and they said that it was still our name on the tenancy?? After many convo's with the council we said the other person could have it and that we wouldn't be paying the rent for last year... that was it, we no longer had an allotment.
Today, my new tenancy agreement came through the post for us to sign with a note to pay our fee's for the coming year!!!
So who's allotment is it???
We are gonna go up in a bit to see if its still being worked and if not then i'm claiming back my plot!!! lol i need it!
With so many people screaming for an allotment its awful to think that i've had one all this time and not used it, and ITS NOT MY FAULT!!
