My usual username on other forums is 'Sprocket', a reflection of my interest in cycling and bikes, but when I registered here, I decided not to use it, as it was irrelevant to a gardening forum, and went, rather boringly, for an abbreviated form of my name - but I now discover that two other members are called, respectively, 'Sprocket' and 'Sprocket*', the latter having got a mention in the latest issue of the mag! Two more cycling fans, maybe?

Talking of people with the same name, when we moved back here to Preston back in 1995, I registered with the local library to find there were two more of me, with the same christian and surnames as me!
I was gobsmaked to see a photo of "me" in the local paper - looked nowt like me!
I also have a "double" who lives, I reckon in the next village, who walks into and out of Preston on a regular basis - not me - honest! Funniest thing was - I saw her once in a car park - we both looked at each other, and then without a word, went on our way! It was SO spooky!!!
Has anyone else got a named double, or seen someone who is identical to them?
PS yes, she is tall, very slim, grey haired, and wears glasses just like me!Bernie aka DDL

There are other people with the same name as me, even one with the same middle initial! But they don't live near here, I came across them after registering with Genes Reunited. There are tonnes of people with the same name as my maiden name... I once met a girl on holiday whose full name was exactly the same as mine, same age too, most odd!Comment
