          Actually that is true. Keep trying to fill the holes in my collection but am loathe to buy the books new. Skinflint or what. Am also reading Thud! at the moment (alongside a number of other books! - that's normal for me). Looking forward to Wintersmith, but I'd probably better read Hat full of Sky first.

            Very rarely have I found TPerry in a charity shop - usually, there are books by Margaret Atwood, Catherine Cookson, Archer, but I did find some gems by Tom Sharpe.

              Same here. It's usually the ones I've got. Lots of Stephen Donaldson and Bernard Cornwell. I'm also trying to replace my Anne McCaffrey's that I unwisely lent as a batch to someone who despite a number of reminders still has them and doesn't return my calls.

              Live and learn.

              Mind you my sis has told me my BIL has a load and she'll look some out for me for when we go over for Xmas.

              Fingers crossed, cos I'm not as rich as Creosote.
