can't eat choccy - it gives me stomach cramps.
I am having a glass of wine of an evening though. Most of all I am loving the peace & quiet: not having the TV blaring constantly.

Mr E is off Oop North on business next week, so no Top Gear re-runs on Dave for a day or two, thank goodness! (Looks round furtively in case he's lurking on the 'Vine... ) He hates being away from home, but I like a bit of time to myself now and then.

It's just so nice to come home after a hard day's work and totally not have to think about fitting your evening around someone else - even if that someone else is very easygoing and wouldn't say a word if I spent the entire day on the sofa with a good book and a bottle of vino

I finished school last Friday for 2 weeks (hurray) son doesn't finish school 'til tomorrow and have had a good day at the allotment today and another tomorrow. Mum is helping me. I like be alone during the day but do enjoy the company at night, I seem to get so much more done on my own. Does anyone else feel they do?

Love Mr Miffy to bits but he does tend to get underfoot though don't like him being on nights as i freeze on my own, he really warms up my cold feet.
Mind you i would rather have him underfoot than not have him around at all.
