The last two times i have tried to log in to this forum, i have been told i have used the wrong name or password! I don`t see how i have when i have it written down in front of me? Whats going on?????

Well you managed to post so something is working. I sometimes think I have clicked to put in the password and find I am going to fast for the computer and have typed it after my name or missed a number or hit the wrong one. I only know this because on one of the logins for our pc it is set to remember my login for the forum and I now have a long list to choose from!!Bright Blessings

Now that is a puzzler. I've only once been booted off mid-post and that was probably because I was taking so long to type my post.

IT boffins hmmmm nope not me then, I have had this problem with signing in but like E.B sometimes its because i typed to fast and the rest of the time it's cos i got a brain like a sieve.

Hmm.... not sure on that one to be honest NTTP, but did you know you can set it so that it automatically logs in as you every time anyway? When you go to the log on area, if you tick the 'Remember Me' box, it should log you straight in next time you try

Mine just logs on automatically, its that long since I actually physically entered my password I've forgot it!

The only problem I've had with this is if I've had CAPS on - the password is case-sensitive.
The 'remember me' box doesn't log me in next time if I've closed the window and disconnected the internet - should it?Comment

It should. I have only Logged on the once since joining. Some sites do put a time limit on staying logged in, though this only applies if you do not post for a length of time.Comment

It seems ok for now. I can`t use "remember me" as you need to use the same computer to do that and as i don`t have internet, i use 3 different computers.Comment
