I don't buy them, anyway, so can't say it bothers me, much. I don't think anything so packed with sugar is innocent! It's all digestible starch in there and not very much fibre. I don't even include smoothies in my daily fruit and veg count. It's practically digested when it goes in!
I like some of their smoothies & especially some of the 'thickies' they do, they claim it won't affect their stance on environmental/ health/ charity issues etc. as Coke were the most 'hands off' group which they met with & are just going to help them move forward with marketing/money etc. into europe. Hmm, we'll see.
Green & Black's chocolate wasn't meant to change after the Cadbury lot took it over... They think we won't notice, but their 'darker milk chocolate' has less cocoa solids now, and has suddenly become 'new - creamier'... I try not to buy it anymore, and save up for Hotel Chocolat or Montezumas. HATE faceless conglomerates taking over small artisan companies The same group have ruined Lion Confectionary (Sports Mixture & hard midget gems) by turning the products into the same squidgy jelly things as their Wine Gums...
* wanders off chuntering...
