Booked tomorrow off so I could at least get some jobs around the house/plot done, maybe go for a few walks with my family, that kinda thing.

What does the weather persons say this morning - bladdy windy and rainy, with a peppering of something called "sun".

I know it's April, and that showers are to be expected, but we had a scorchio April last year if remember correctly...

We got the grass cut in the back garden ready for Ash's parties....tomorrows won't be bad,just 6 family friends....but the weather better pick up for Saturday...if they all turn up we've got 15 classmates stuck in the living room!

Yup- we've got rain here now- I've had to put the heating back on!
Even chooks prefer to hang around indoors- tis a pretty nippy wind!
Oh well-I'm sure there's lots of fun things to do indoors

I think its my fault, I was going to start tilling the new veg patch at the house this weekend. The clay had just about dried up enough without being rock solid.

I did a joint party for my two many years ago, vile weather. 25 of the little darlings in a very small house! It was bowling for 3 every year after that

i mowed my lawn yesterday, just finished and we had a hailstone monsoon .... and had to be out in it rescuing stoopid rabbit that didn't want to be caught and getting electrical stuff back in the shed ... the moment i sorted all that, it stopped and the sun came out

has been a lovely april so far tho and all the rain has been at night
