it's not just a matter jaring the neck muscules,it ca also affect others down the back, and the effects can be felt for a few years, when it happened to me,6 years later,i ended up going private to a bone doctor, after a few sesions and time felt fine, until 6 weeks laterwhen we were ramed from behind at some traffic light,so i got the required treatmen from the start, being bit before i was on the ball, and the same with my son last year, thats why you never settle anything until you are all better,
am so pleased for you that they have responded so promptly,i wonder how many times it's happened before with him.
sigpicAnother nutter ,wife, mother, nan and nanan, love my growing places, seed collection and sharing, also one of these

        Talked it up didn't we?
Yesterday I was cycling to lotty as usual, and noticed this people carrier pulled up at the road I was entering, but I couldn't see why.

I proceeded with caution, made my right turn. Car was stationary in front of me, then all of a sudden he whacked it into reverse - he didn't even glance in his mirrors first, let alone look behind him.

A loud smack on his wing woke him up !

... but I didn't get an apology or a wave, nuffin.

Hope your feeling better, Most people I believe don't know they have mirrors on their cars. Last summer (1st day of school hols) I was coming home from the beach through the main town two lanes, me on the inside, and silly lady on the other side didn't use her mirrors and done a U turn and I drove straight in the side of her. I did use a few choice words, cause the kids were in the car. Wrote my car off, but hers only had a dent in the side of it. The hospital gave me pain killers, which knocked be out, I was in the garden watching the Kids in the pool, and I got sunburnt!!! So go careful with painkillers

Ooh TS!! I'm hoping that was your hand smacking his car as a warning, not him smacking into you?? You weren't hurt were you?

I'm still in a lot of pain. Left my mega painkillers at work last night, so couldn't take any at bedtime and I really know about it this morning I can tell you.

                No, I wasn't hurt. After 25 years on a bike, I have a 6th sense for idiots.
