  • Some piccies of my garden

    Hi
Bit nervous about putting these on as there are so many experienced gardeners on here but thought they might offer some ideas to new peeps with small gardens

The first picture is of part of my front garden, the raised bed has asparagus in it. The rest are of the back garden. The left hand side of my garden is the flower and pots border and then the bog area and pond and then beyond that a woodlandy bit, the right is mediterranean courtyardy bit with a grapevine that grows over it in the summer for shade, then on from that is mainly veg and a wigwam for sweet peas

Hope these are not too boring

btw the acrylic mirrors are not for style but to reflect light and give the impression of a wider garden

        Thanks Flummery
I like looking at other people's gardens too! We are lucky with the weather today, this is the first nice day we've had, it's been chucking it down for the last 3 and tomorrow is supposed to be rain again, so am making the most of it!

That's one reason I like to ride on top of a bus. For garden Nosey-Parkering it can't be beaten!

Hi SR, thanks for sharing the lovely pics. You can look at your garden and then go back and look again and find something else. I like gardens like that.

Love the idea of the mirrors on the fence, if that's what they are!

Thanks everyone! Its taken quite a bit of time, the last 3 years to be precise. Each year I try and do another bit of it. Its quite small and as I have no lottie has to double up for veggies too. As OH has Parkinsons, I have had to do most of it myself including the heavier work, so not all of it is perfect but I do the best I can.

Thanks, they are acrylic mirrors. The idea was to make the garden seem wider and also because that side get less light, I thought they might reflect some light onto the plants in the border.

Garden's looking fab hon! To be honest folks the pics dont do it justice, I have never seen so many plants in such a confined space. To top it all they are all really healthy looking to!
