Just wanted to find out if anyone else has discovered these fantastic shoes???? CROCKS

For the uninitiated they are a plastic shoe, reminiscent to the old jelly bean of the 80s and the comfiest thing EVER. They are also really bright colours(mine red, mums fushia pink, best friends orange yes i have converted every one to them!) I did however see a couple walking down the road hand in hand wearing matching purple ones which is just wrong....

They are brill for walks, gardening whatever and just wash when finished I urge you all to try a pair on and then you will know where i am coming from., and no i am not on commission although should be.

Let me know what you all think.

I did see these the other week, I'm sure it was in a gardening centre (would that be right) but only glanced at them, I will have a closer look next time I come across them. How much are they approx?

Have seen them about but thought that they looked a bit, how shall I put this, sweaty what with them being plastic. Is that not the case?

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

No Lesley quite the opposite!!! Dont go off their looks try them on...

Maybe something similar in garden centre but not real thing, crocks are normally sold in shoe shops or fashion stores if i was better on computer i could put a picture up they have a strap that you can put behind your foot so its like a shoe or your fold it up so the shoe is like a clog.

Have seen these in various shops & they look as though they make even the tiniest feet look like an elephant's & they cost about £20 or more. I only take a small size 3 & they seemed to start at 4 (did see kiddy ones though) & my O.H. said that if I bought any he wouldn't walk down the road with me!
Think you can even get high-heeled wellies now Lesley!

Wish Nick was here now, I'm sure he's come up with some suitable words about these items

                  All of which would amuse

Nothing wrong with wellies so long as they're accompanied by thick socks in winter. Mine are a pair of terribly stylish steel toe capped ones with my old company name on the side and have been going strong in bad weather for the last 15 years. Having said that, wouldn't be seen dead in them outside the boundary of the garden!
