I wear manky trainers too, or my favourite Muckboots which are fab!! They are made of neoprene, so waterproof, can run them under the tap and fold them down, and best of all...don't needs socks - so none of that uncomfortable sock-half-under-the-foot from sock-eating welliesIf you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.

I just seem to wear wellies all day! At work, at home ......... I have four pairs
: one pair for gardening (got holes in)
: one pair for walking the dog (not got holes in as have to wade through a loch)
: one for working (sites)
: one for posh wear (impressing anyone on a site) (and when I'm wearing evening dress)
I even wear wellies with shorts so have a great tan line at the knees!
Shouldn't really be telling you this .........
But Lesley - high heel wellies ??????????? or were you just writing for Nick?~

When my other half started chasing me i was working in a restaurant and used to wear a tiny mini skirt and tshirt under my whites and as soon as I got home I used to put my wellies on and walk the dogs and I always used to see him and he seemed to ask me out when I was wearing this fetching outfit!! but it worked our wedding anniversary on sunday. 18 years and 2 sons later I dont think the mini would have the same effect!!

I tend to wear whatever I've got on my feet at the time - slippers, boots, flip-flops. heels & even forgot & went out there in a lovely pair of cream coloured suede shoes this summer & spent ages scrubbing grass stains & mud off them! I do have some lovely flowery wellies & short 'chelsea boot' style wellies which I wear if it's really wet though!Into every life a little rain must fall.
