Two Wongs don't make a Wight...

I'd just scrape the clippings together and drop them back over the fence (not thrown, just a little pile). They might not be being malicious, just careless?

There's a little bit of common grass in our estate. *someone* is dumping piles of grass clippings on it ~ big piles. They don't rot down, they just sit in big untidy brown piles.

the man who mows the site is furious, because he works really hard to keep that patch tidy.

I don''t understand any of that Milly. Why would your neighbours give themselves the bother of throwing their rubbish into your garden - easier to put it on the compost heap or the council bin.
To me it sounds like retaliation for something they think you do to them. What is it about your gardening they don't like.
Whatever you do, don't let this escalate. How miserable to live beside people you are at war with.
Think about this calmly and talk to them - in a nice way.
Hope you get it all sorted out.

Don't retaliate, go round and talk to them. They might not listen but then again they might and as a couple of sensible people have already said, they may not be doing it deliberately and both you and they might end up going down a long road of dispute for no good reason. If they are being awkward then at least you've tried and need not feel guilty for jumping to conclusions.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

If this is your garden can I come & live next door to you. or you could send me some in a "LARGE" brown envelope.

I find that it is the only effective pain killer for my ailments bubblewrap ... i always have a little knocking about...!!!
I have not bought any "painkiller" for years bro... i don`t like the idea of funding criminals. I just wish the government would find a way of taxing it so it can be made legal.

I hope you can resolve it all amicably. There wil be nothing worse than having gripes with your neighbours, esp in 'summer' when everyone wants to be outside and wil hear what the others are saying.
It might just be a misunderstanding. I would certainly want to talk to them first before throwing stuff over their fence and making matters worse.
Of course it might be malicious in which case I would happily throw stuff back lol

I like to sit on the fence me...
