Hahahaha, good point Mikey Although, I have literally only been out about twice in the last 5 months, not counting hospital appts. But no, I meant going out on the town sort of out
I like a bit of vino in the garden meself, especially homemade.
Its not a 60's thing bach, look at the lady on the right in this shot, its a tabbarded diva.
That isn't a tabbard, it's a sleeveless overall. A tabbard goes on over the head, and doesn't open down the front AT ALL!
I still prefer a proper pinny!
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

Awww, look at the street party... Bless. We should have more street parties like that, tabbards or no... Mebbe we'll have one for the next coronation...
I go on the basis of the original mediaeval 'tabbard' which was a longish rectangle of material with a hole to put it on over the head. A WW2 kitchen overall is NOT a tabbard!<g>

On that basis then the sleeveless overall looks like this.
If we're going to be real pedants, then there can be no such thing as a 'sleeveless overall' because then it isn't 'over all' it's only 'over-part'
Very true, unless what you are wearing under it is also sleeveless (doesn't 'overall' mean that it covers all the clothes you are wearing???? Otherwise it would need to cover your head, including face, as well.)
