Wow, that's amazing! Well done!
I definitely think Zazen's onto a winner with the ribbon suggestion! I'm going to start keeping an eye out for nets! I can't imagine how long it took you but I think it would take me months!

Looks great!
Depends on your sewing skills! I think it'd take me about 5 hours to do it as sewing in a straight line isn't that hard, although it's netting which is always a pain.
Hmmm I'll go for 6 hours.Rachel
Trying to tame the mad thing called a garden and getting there I think!

It looks really neat Janey, well done! I've been using an old piece of net curtain to line the planting baskets for some aquatic plants, it was left over from some I bought from Ikea last year, don't know if they still have them but you could get a pair of really long white nets for about £3 or so, very cheap & useful!Into every life a little rain must fall.

Janeyo I am truely in awe of your dedication - by hand? you deserve a medal lass, it's amazing .
If I'm passing an Ikea I might have to get some of those aforementioned net curtains, for use in future projects, but won't be as impressive as yours. May your brassicas flourish (how could they not, in such impressive surroundings).Life is brief and very fragile, do that which makes you happy.

I have to admit standing at the kitchen sink and admiring it from afar... I wonder what the neighbours think!
When I built the first raised beds last year, the chap next door who is lovely but fraightfully poshe, was cutting his side of the conifers and said to me (made me jump out of my skin) 'I say you look like just like Lady Dracula building your coffins'
I spose this year he thinks I am mummifying bodies in the tunnel PMSL.
