Hi Sluglobber, I must admit I'm a little over weight, that's having kids, working in the garden is helping remove it... And yeah my sisters sits watching telly and on computer unless she's walking her dog, but I have a lovely Garden, which looks fantastic, and a great part of it is raised veg beds, and chicken area, and then a huge Pond and stream, to sit, watch and listen to.. so I know why i spend time in the garden. I some-times thinks it's jealously..

Because we so near the park, and the teenagers on the Island don't have anywhere to go... also every night they are in the park making alot of noise. We have a police car sitting next to the entrance to the park most evenings watching what they are upto

A few years ago a lot of pots went missing from the front of many houses in our area in the UK.
Most of them ended up at car boot sales...worth having a look if you enjoy going anyway!

Next thing to be nicked were whole driveways of York Stones slabs!!!!...it boosted interest in Homewatch in the locality I can tell you!
Why not contact your Homewatch co-ordinator- and the police..then all the members in your area should be contacted once a month with information about local thefts/break-ins.

Oops, should clarify. My sister thinks that her being overweight is 'genetic'. No one else in our family is fat. Nothing to do with sitting on her ar5e and eating chippy teas 3-4 nights a week, plus the rest of the tripe. I'm carrying a few extra pounds myself, but I know that's because I eat for two (no, I'm not preggers, lol!) and it's only the exercise that stops me exploding and making a nasty mess.

Get some Anti climb paint and put it round the top edge. That'll put them off as soon as they try and lift it.

I know what you mean, I feel i'm overweight because i used to be a size 8 and an I'm now a 14, but by having 2 children 16m apart, and both being a massive 8lb 8oz, what else can you expect. But the chips will do it. My family have a fish and chip shop, but we're good once a month and that's enough.

Well if they were hanging around, making noise then it must be them - lock them up and throw away the key for such a terrible crime! Sorry but it really annoys me when people have a total downer on a group or section of society just because they don't conform to what they want. As a kid I often hung around a park area, we weren't up to anything, it was just somewhere to meet but people may well have said bad and unfair things about us. Fair enough if these kids are actually nicking things, something should be done about it but if all they're doing is hanging around then it's hardly evidence so no wonder the police won't do anything.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
