Currently in the process of updating our company pricelist, and over a few days last week changed the prices of some 2800 odd items in the artwork.
Saved it all on a USB to take home - make sure it's safe like.
Someone asked if I had a USB they could borrow for 24 hours. Opened the folder on the USB I was going to lend and noticed that the price list artwork was on there too. Deleted it.
Opened up the USB with the files I had been working on and saw "no files found".
Yip, I'd deleted the wrong files!
Ok, so I opened up the USB stick I was going to donate and noticed that it still had the pricelist artwork file I'd transferred across. Phew!
Not quite. That artwork was old untouched and had the old prices on it.
Guess what I'm doing now...
Artwork has to be submitted to the printers tomorrow and I've a sales meeting tomorrow to prepare for, a presentation to prepare for a synergies meeting next week.
Why do these things happen all at once?
