Hope it was an old phone! Like the name Two Sheds, I'd stick with it as it suits her!

Beautiful
In a remarkable show of faith my Grandpa bought an African Grey when he reached the grand old age of 80 - he and parrot are still going strong (GP aged 94 now!)
The only trouble is that the bird picked up some unfortunate habits from GPs cleaning lady and her hubby - he has a 'smokers cough' and barks like a small and annoying dog! You have been warned...

When I was a nipper (5 - 6yrs), the more than eccentric old lady (not you obviously twosheds) across the road had an African Grey - boy could it mimic, not only her cutglass English accent but the broad Glaswegian of the area and her workmen! I remember (somewhat painfully) that it liked hot chilli peppers which meant I learned to wash my hands at a very early age!

- she poos an unbelievable amount, and shuffles backwards & wags her tail before she 'goes'. It should warn me, but I'm never quick enough with the cloth
- she bites fingers, but only to get tickles
- she loves taking things apart (phones, mice, fingernails)
- she likes to squeeze into small gaps to sleep (between legs, under tee shirts, under armpits
- she loves tickles (back of the neck, eyelids)
- her very favourite place, is snuggled on your chest, head under your chin (me or Mr Sheds, although he is squashier than I am)
- she is more gentle with the face than you'd expect. I forgot she wasn't my conure, and offered her cheese from my mouth, and luckily she didn't bite my face off
- while not as good a dancer as Jasper, she didn't object to bopping around the lounge to Off The Wall
- she loves buttons, zips & toggles. probably earrings too, but I'm not trying that
- she can't fly yet (too young) and actually isn't even that good at standing on two feet without falling over
- she can 'kind of, nearly' say Okay, Hello and wolf whistle
- she has just discovered, right now this minute, my ear and my eyelashes, and is inspecting them closelyAll gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.

I've just remembered that when I was little Grandpa had a Mynah bird which used to perch outside his glasshouses (he was a tomato grower) and shout 'Raymond!' whenever my Grandma wanted to call him in for tea...wonder if I could get one for rounding up the children

She's such a sweetie. One of our cockatiels used to sit on my husband's glasses, bend over and beak his nose!Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

She looks a good un sounds like she could take over the household .
The funniest bird i have heard was a Mynah Bird in a brummie pub that used to keep the barman hopping about with the sound of breaking glasses.... jacobWhat lies behind us,And what lies before us,Are tiny matters compared to what lies Within us ...
