So, what's it got to do with you then?

We are having a discussion, this is a forum to discuss things, its an exchange of views.
Or I have got this all wrong, is this a private meeting?

Sorry, it is a discussion which is why I am questioning what your query about someone's lifestyle has got to do with you - in the same way you queried what their decisions about travel arrangements had to do with attending a gym.

[Getting personal and then trying to make someone look dumb when you are accused of making things personal is not a good tactic].

I have replied to a poster, who wanted to discuss the things that they posted. That is why we post things.
I post things on my facebook page, including photos.
If I wanted to keep my photos private, then I would not post them.

So, what has attending a gym got to do with travel arrangements? It was you who brought up the gym, not them....you made that particular connection.

Are you insinuating that the person doesn't live an active life.....when you know nothing about them [is my point]. The person hasn't mentioned having a problem with their activity [not that I can see]...Just that their transport decisions are pretty easily resolved by looking at time and cost implications.

Anyway - I'm off now - up to 14th St for felafel and then to 16th St for a show. We are in New York - cheap flights and got a great deal on a hotel. Thank GOD for no aviation fuel tax.

We were having a discussion. If esrikandan wants to discuss things further we will, if not, we won't.
And if you want to discuss aviation fuel tax, I can discuss the facts, but God does not exist!

                        Is that a fact then?

Evolution is a fact, but I don't think that topic would get past the mods.

No, probably not! Particularly when at least one of them (me) is a Christian... That is NOT a discussion I want to get into on this forum. Although if you want to pop round for a brew sometime, I'll give you a run for your money

Can we attempt to stay on topic (fuel prices) please? Thank you

Maybe not, but I think you'll find 'evolution' is a mostly accepted paradigm or theory (ie commonly "fact" is used to refer to the observable changes in organisms' traits over generations, while the word "theory" is reserved for the mechanisms that cause these changes...) and you can't say 'God doesn't exist' is a fact because its not scientifically provable.

                              BTW I'm an atheist.
