I'm so glad it's not too bad, I was going to say sit down with a glass of wine but perhaps that won't help your brain know where your feet are! Take care and take it easy.

Phew - I just saw the thread title and had to speed read through - I'm so glad for you that you're not back in plaster again. Here's hoping the physio will give you a better result.

Oh Sarah, what a time you are having! xxx Big fat hug from Rotherham on its way! We were also in A & E yesterday - lovely place
Our youngest Harry, whos 2 in May, decided to fall over the clothes prop his STUPID IDIOT of a mum (its ok its me so i can call it myself ) left on the patio! He went head first into the step and burst his forehead open!!! How guilty do I feel for not moving it?
He had to have strips on it as it was wide and then glued!
They said to watch for signs of concussion be he wasnt even crying, more interested in playing in the toy area! Seems he thought we'd taken him to a playcentre instead of hospital lol!
He's fine now just have to keep his fingers away from the strips!
Hope you can recover sufficienty to help with your treatment - long term illnesses are no fun chic xxx

Just caught up with this thread and my first thought like everyone else was OMG not again poor you. Then reading on found out not so bad afterall. My OH broke his heel a few years back long story but he had too have it rebroken and was in plaster for three months then wasnt allowed to use it for ages. So do take it easy hugs coming your way.

Just found out about this due to a hugely busy weekend surrounding Himself's 60th birthday - I do your hope your problem's something that a few days rest will settle. You poor lass, you've really been through it.

I've just read it too, such a relief that your ankle is OK. BUT you're getting a sharp slap on the wrist for being silly in the first place. (Not sharp enough to need a cast on the wrist though, obviously )
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

Awwwww, but I didn't do anything silly, honest! I was just doing as I was told and trying to put my foot down a bit... The ground just wasn't where I thought it was

First reaction was "For crissakes" and "OMG" and then reading through "Thank God". My DD has Hypermobility she's 12 (last week) and could only run properly a few years back, she was born with odd hips too but we went the physio route to get her legs straighter.

She'll more than likely have squiffy hormones too then Hayley, good luck with that All 3 of mine are hypermobile - #2 son is already complaining of painful joints, and #1 son has very squiffy hormones. I'm dreading DD hitting puberty...

Sarah glad to her you've not done more damage, can relate to the floor not being where its supposed to be, have hypermobility too as has Stacey, she's terrrible at the mo for walking into thing, the doorframes keep moving lol! Had a bad day at work yesterday caught my arm on the gatepost, my hand on a letterbox and banged my leg getting in to the car was really tired though just a few more bruises to ad to the collection!
A quick question do you know if low blood pressure is part of the hypermobility, Stacey has complained a couple of occasions of feeling faint I had this as well in my teens and early twenties and it was due to blood pressure was just wandering if it was connected or just hormones?
