    Oh Gawd, hormones

Cheyenne is very clumsy and she's aways doing sommat, grazed her back today clearing out her old Wendy House (conversion to dog shelter). Most plates get chipped and things get broken. It's dangerous to be close when she's throwing a ball too

Had a bad day at work yesterday caught my arm on the gatepost, my hand on a letterbox and banged my leg getting in to the car was really tired though just a few more bruises to ad to the collection!
A quick question do you know if low blood pressure is part of the hypermobility, Stacey has complained a couple of occasions of feeling faint I had this as well in my teens and early twenties and it was due to blood pressure was just wandering if it was connected or just hormones?
I think it's an HMS thing Sylvia, some get it really bad, I think it's called POTS, (Post something or other Tachycardia something.... hmmmm. maybe not very helpful!). Tell her to slow down, it's always worse when you leap up

Aw, Sarz, didn't realise you had HMS to contend with. I also understand about proprioception, because of horses, believe it or not! Don't think we covered it in A level Psychology, but I was maybe sleeping!

Hope your foot is in much less pain this morning. Have virtual hug. ((())).

Thanks Piskie I'd look fab in those, they're probably as long as I am tall

Does anyone have any experience of ankle braces? I've been looking at them on eBay, some of them are really, really expensive, some very cheap, but I haven't a clue what's good and what's not...

It might be worth asking the physio what's the best one to get.
There's more choice available in the private sector of course.
Might be worth seeing a sports rehab person who is very experienced in the selection available????

Yeah, you're right I suppose Nicos, the physios will know. Just not sure how long I'll have to wait to see them!
I'm going to try strapping it with a crepe bandage and see if that helps. I can't relax at the moment because any movement is hurting, so I'm making myself ache trying to hold it still!

Sarah, just seen this. So sorry you poor thing. Hope you're feeling ok and not too blue. You don't deserve this! Just think of all the good things that must be around the corner to make up for all your setbacks. I'd send a virtual hug too, but there are so many people virtually-hugging you at the moment, that I'd just be at the back of the crowd, not able to reach. So I'll blow you a virtual kiss instead! x

I think I'd have won the lottery on Saturday, if I hadn't done a bargain with Him upstairs... "I don't mind not winning the lottery as long as I haven't got to have another pinning operation"....

At first I saw this thread, but ignored it thinking it was the last time. Didn't realise again actually mean again!

Blimey lady, no wonder you're feeling a bit down. Glad you don't have to have another cast - but I'm sure you're even more pleased about that. I'm guessing none of the sports supports are any good for you?

Oh, and piskie - I'm sure I read somewhere that clown shoes are now to be banned on health & safety grounds...
