I have found a great site :: Community Fix :: Helping to keep your community clean & safe

you can report your problems in a few simple clicks, there's even a map to help with location of problem.
You don't even need to know who to email ... you state the problem, and the site forwards your message to the relevant authority.

Whereas I usually get an "out of office" message if I email the council, with this site I got an actual reply from an actual real person, who said the flytipping had been located and cleared less than 24 hrs after I reported it.

Result.

I do email the council from time to time, I find it quite easy, no waiting on the phone.
Is this fix any different, which areas does it cover?

I read somewhere that one of the local Councils has come up with the bright idea that by NOT repairing potholes this will save them money on traffic calming methods!
