Bed/Bath dilemma

Right, plans.
We have built a spot for the bath. I want one with the taps/plug/overflow in the middle (easier said than done when a terminal cheapskate). I am after a basin that will sit on the top of some sort of vintage French dresser, I also would like a very natty heated towel rail, the magical floating bog is already here. Lighting has me flummoxed.
And then there are the options (and colours) for tiles and flooring...................................

Yup, as a bath addict I'd go with the bath too. As for colours, keep it neutral, it always seems cleaner and more spacious, and doesn't date so quickly!

Love my shower and could'nt live without it.
Quick and easy, in and out.
None of this filling up the bath, getting in and laying in it until the water turns cold.
Shower is much more efficient.

If you just want to wash, a shower wins every time. If you want to soak away aches, a bath is the ONLY option. Best is to have both available (even if that means using the bath as a shower tray).

Ah, but for some of us, a bath is more than just a leisurely soak. When Raynauds has kicked in during the winter, I can't have a shower as it hurts my feet to stand up! A bath allows total circulation to resume (and the wine fits nicely on the side...).

Have you tried wearing the old wooden soled Scholl sandals? (silly price these days, if you can still get them).
I always had poor circulation in hands and feet (but short of going to the doctor with it). One winter someone I worked with suggested trying them, and after wearing no other footwear for a couple of years (except when wellies were the only realistic possibility), much improved. In fact STILL much improved even though I haven't owned any of the 'proper' ones for about 20 years now!

Add colour via use of towels, mats and accessories.

Even though I don't have a shower fitted and long for the quickness of in-wash-out, I would deffo go for a bath, because the option for a good long soak is always there.

Never seen the point of a bidet. If my feet are dirty I'll hop in the bath

I`m a shower man and always have been but the occasional soak in a bath at the end of a week is great i admit.

I have a shower over my bath so can use both if needed,and saves room in not having a shower and bath separately.

My bath i a jacuzzi but i wish i had gone for the spa instead.The Jacuzzi has jets on the side and isnt much good for `hitting the parts of the back as it hits your sides,whereas the spa has jets on the bottom of the bath and thus `hits the spot every time`.Costs more though.

As for bidets,i could not live without one.Fantastic piece of kit.Its all about hygiene you see and it does the job superbly.(if you get my drift).
