Snadgar, happy birthday and hope you get lots of pressies.
                Have a great day.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

A big THANKYOU to all for the birthday wishes. I am now of an age that if voluntary redundancy was offered to me I could take it and still recieve a pension. (Bit scary that!)

My long term plan when I was 55 was to work my ticket.......I would then be offered voluntary reduncancy to get rid of me.........get my pension and a part time job in Tesco's stacking shelves....allowing me to devote MORE time to the allotment and other hobbies.

Problem is, there are no part time jobs at Tesco's these days..in fact there are no part time OR full time jobs ANYWHERE full stop!

Ah well, life's a bitch and then you die!

As Baldrick would say " I have a cunning plan" I just haven't formulated plan 'B' yet!
My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)

                        Diversify & prosper
