Know how you feel NOG... the Sahara desert seems to have more moisture in it than my water butt!

Still no rain down here either. We've had a few drops but nothing worth mentioning. The sky earlier looked like it was going to chuck it down but nothing

Plenty of rain here - we've had a couple of sunny days but the rain is back today as per usual.

A comedian once remarked, "It'd be a great little country if they could put a roof on it."

Hope you get your rain soon.

I've been lying in the hammock in the sunshine - praying for rain - as my butts are empty too.

Well it's raining here Rana - I'm not that far from the Devon border so hopefully this will be heading your way! My butts are rarely empty! I had a spare butt last year which wasn't connected it was just left out and filled up anyway! Now I need to empty it in order to move it!

Everything's rock hard around my area, too. I've been watering my container veg in the evenings, the last week or so, as the spuds were looking a bit wilted!

Enjoying the nice weather, though. No doubt it'll turn to **** in a few weeks!!

We've had at least 3 inches of rain in the last 2 days...

I have standing water on my lawn, veg patch, paddock and bird run.

The chickens are officially *not happy*

Aha! We had a downpour this lunchtime, and now my 2 house butts are both half-full again.

No rain of any significance here in Skeg since before Easter. We get the dark clouds but they all get blown out to sea.

Hooray some rain today! On the not so good side, the wind has been giving my veg a real battering. Some of the garlic has really bent over.
