When you say it doesn't work does it show anything? Is the power light on? If there are channel up/down buttons on the box do they work but not the remote? How long did it work for? There are 10 kinds of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't.

I have no idea how any of it works and just let OH try and sort it out. I thought if anyone came up with anything he hasnt tried already he would think I was clever lol.
We bought it from Asda and it worked to start with its one that you can also record. It had aflashingg light but thats on constant now so maybe he has fixed it by turning it off and leaving it a while before turning it back on. I dont even know how to work the blooming thing lol and stick to sky.Gardening ..... begins with daybreak

Could be over heating- if it's not an expensive box then it might be prone to overheating, make sure vents are clear- try not to put anything on top of it.
you could also try hoovering through the vents to get rid of any built up dust!My Album, Progress so Far: -

freeview boxes have a habit of hanging.
1. Turn off TV
2. Turn off Freeview
3. Turn on TV and Freeview
4. Turn TV to Freeview channel
Then only use freeview remote.
If still not working do a re-find of channels.
You must have a good ariel if you are using an indoor one it needs to have a mains amplifier. My phone has more Processing power than the Computers NASA used to fake the Moon Landings

Jackie don't know if it's coincidence but we had to re-tune our Freeview boxes this morning because Stockland Hill was turned digital last night (I've obviously got all the technical jargon going on here!). We're still picking up analogue signal from somewhere else - I'm really not sure how this all works, but it seems we're picking up signal from more that one transmitter and I'm thinking we'll have to re-tune more than once as the transmitters are graduallly turned over.Life is too short for drama & petty things!
So laugh insanely, love truly and forgive quickly!
