PT that's fab. It's a wonderful city. Loved it lots when I was there and that was only three days. It's on my list of places to take Mr E to. There are some fab bits to see in the old city and regardless of your beliefs some of the churches are breathtaking and there's this clock thing. Also as no one else has mentioned it yet don't forget to try the beer. It's the home of Pilsner and soooooooo much better than anything you can get bottled or even on pumps here. Have a look at the glassware. Prague is famous for it.
Most of all relax and enjoy.
Bright Blessings
Earthbabe If at first you don't succeed, open a bottle of wine.
You wanted food recommendations...? Well a friend of mine came back from Prague last week and said that amongst some dodgier local dishes, they tried something called "Russian Cake" which she said was absolutely divine.
I know if I go (which I hope to...), then it'll be on my hit list...
Thanks everyone for all those pointers ( all noted) and good wishes.
It was a joint comp with Lonely Planet Guide books ( used them for all my wanderings) and Lastminute.com. Never hoped to win so I'm really thrilled.
I have to write a blog of the trip and agree for it to be used in any promo stuff. ( fine by me)
Now where's my passport......
