Very appropriate PT but you may be sorely disappointed. I'd learn to ask for beer or wine if it were me. Or possibly the nearest cake shop so I can oggle the local patisserie and breathe in the aroma.

If at first you don't succeed, open a bottle of wine.

Wow! This gets better and better. I naturally assumed this would be a no frills airline and a hotel on the outskirts sort of thing. Which would be great anyway but:

It's The Hilton! It normally costs about 115.00 a night per room and is right on the river a ten minute stroll from the pretty old town bit. One of those big sumptuous buffet spread breakfasts included too.
..and we're flying BA from Gatwick which is my nearest most convenient airport.

Crikey. Better get on the diet so I can fit into my posh togs.

I am so delighted by this. I'm recovering from Pneumonia ( or however you spell it) at the moment. well not so much recovering as swearing at it. Have been feeling pretty rough and dead sorry for myself. Now I'm wafting about nodding wisely at the hand of fate. Giveth, taketh away, door closes another opens, Spinach dies but Cucumbers take over planet etc.
I am going to be swanning around the Hilton in Prague in January when England is generally not at its' best. Also Czech friend/ work pal has emailed saying they will book me on their luxury coaches at their expense to come and visit them.
Dunno about the food though. According to guide sites typical Czech food is pork stew and dumplings with bread......
