      Mine started in the early nineties back in the day when the tinternet was more easy going....

      Pic is 'cause I keep having to duck due to my dry sense of humour!

        Dogsbody, because I get all the jobs no-one else wants, whether at home, the garden, work or my other passion motorsport marshalling (not quite true on that last one as today I got to drive the BMW M3 course car all day - is 120mph fast?)

          I have posted this before in similar threads but it's always nice to know where others got their inspiration when choosing a name for the vine.

          I am snuffer because my snuff box is my constant companion. I am never without it. You can't better a good pinch of snuff.

            Well I will finally say hello then! Burgerboy was a nick name as a play om my surname of McCoy ie burger boy mccoy, I have been assured that it is nothing to do with the fact that i am the same build as a brick s**t house and have been known to eat the odd burger lol

                Well I was always JamesG - wherever I've been there's been more than one James so the first letter of my surname was used to differentiate me....

                Then I moved to Bristol where most Jameses get called (imagine West Country accent) Jimmmeerrrrr!

                  In my first year at the lottie, I grew some Pumpkins called 'Becky', but I spell my name Becki, therefore Pumpkin Becki.

                  My avatar is the logo I use on all my hand painted furniture/ greeting cards/ ragdolls etc, a country fairy with a dripping paintbrush.

                    I came to The Vine looking for help with slugs. At the time, I was thinking of campaigning for slug lobbing as an olympic sport! I had an avatar to match, too. Current avatar is my exmoor pony, Henry. A handsome devil who charms anything female, equine or not!

                      My name is pretty obvious, the avatar is a pic of my lovely Gemma.

                        Mine is actually my name, believe it or not.

                        Sarz is short for Sarah (rhymes with STAIRS!) and Wix, well, I'm sure you can work it out, but we have nowt to do with the DIY chain

                        My avatar changes often, but my very favourite one is a pic out of an old Ladybird book

                          Mine's because of my habit of dropping myself in it;

                          Like wanting a few Chooks, and ending up with 20! Hearing about Geese needing a home, and going and getting 4 of them (then having to clean big wet green dollops of poo from my car)!

                          The list is endless really...

                            When I first started going onto forums, I was signing into the weight watchers forum and needed a name...I looked out of the office window in our old house, it was dark...and before me was a willow tree and the stars in the sky, hence willowstar. I quite like it.

                              At least I think that's what they call me.
