Sorry Flum, but I got you back that time! One-all.

Anagram. Heh. And you are one of the few people that know what mendacious actually means!

Ha - so it's not an anagram? You really are a lying hound! Mendacious is one of the words I love the sound of - like pusillanimous!

Mine is just an abbreviation of my name, which is dead boring. On most forums nowadays, I'm 'sprocket', a reference to my love of bikes and cycling, but that was taken here, as was 'sprocket*'. I've also been, at various times and on various fora, 'Genial Harry Grout', a character from 'Porridge'; 'J. Peasmold Gruntfuttock', a Kenneth Williams character from 'Round the Horne'; and 'Elmer Fudd', the American cartoon character.

I bet quite a few grapes know, just no need to comment when Flum had spotted it (why duplicate the efforts of a clever lady?)!

Um - there was certainly no offense intended, I would imagine you are quite correct when you say a lot of grapes would know the meaning of the word. But I think this is because (based on my limited experience of the vine) the average user is significantly more intelligent than on most other discussion forums - I havent seen a rant or a flame war in all my months of reading!

So if you think I've come across badly then please accept my apologies. Must try harder.
