I'm the same! I never weigh/measure anything, so every dish is different! OH opted for a roast chicken, so its in the oven.

Would you believe it! The sun has just come out!

Potted up my new cherry tree, laid some bark, transferred everything out of my GH and into my neighbours empty GH then took popped out polycarb panels and scrubbed them (they are now scattered around the house drying as it's chucking it down outside). Built some bamboo wigwams int he rain, OH cut some logs, cut the grass, trimmed the holly bush and some other unknown bush type things, lifted some spare strawberry plants to give to a friend.

I've just put on the immersion so I can have a soak in the bath, OH put the woodburner on and is now playing footie on the Wii, dogs are snoozing and I've just ordered some peas and beans from moreveg.

No idea what we're having for tea.

Gardening at lottie...sun shining, then......lashed it down....retired to chicken run to talk to chickens until sun came out again, which it did..........after some enthralling repartee with the chooks where I was treated to all the recent very local (the size of the run) gossip.............when sun came out again I got on with building my carrot bed!

Dry but very windy here again (has been all week, apart from one shower).
I got a couple hours up the lotty, but it wasn't pleasant to plant parsley in a dust-storm.

"sunny intervals" in between the showers-dug the contents of compost bin into the ground, cleaned half of the kitchen and pulled up evil gooseberry bushes with OH and his LR help.Another 2 to go...and then I'll have a decent veg patch...

Been dry but breezy here. Spent all afternoon trying to dig out a big leyllandi tree stump. I now feel that I could shoot the person that planted it!

Warm, breezy, but dry - YAY.

Collected 25+ bags of manure from stables that I had saved over winter.
Collected old Land Rover roof from storage.
Removed unwanted sides from Landy roof, and filled upturned roof with water!
                        Unloaded bags of manure.
Collected Geese - sh1t all over car!
                        Released Geese.
Watched Geese play in water - happy (me and them!)
                        Dismantled and re-sited Chook coop.
Re-erected coop, and moved leccy fence.
Rounded up 20 Chooks and eventually got them where we wanted them.
                        Fed Geese and Chooks.
                        Walked and fed Dogs.
                        Poured G+T.
                        Had bath.
                        Had dinner.

Knackered now! Lovely productive day, doing *&%$ all tomorrow!

Drove to Shaldon dropped daughter off. Caught ferry from Shaldon to Teignmouth, watched daughter race on the river Teign, caught Ferry back to Shaldon, sat in the sun in the beer garden drinking shandy ( got to drive home ) had fish and chips sitting on a bench on the sea front. Watched the mens race, watched the womens race. Its a sight to see all these boats come in they raced from the Pier back to the back beach with a fast in coming tide. Came home had a coffe went to bed.
This will be done every other saturday for the summer lol
At least the sun was shinning although a bit brezzy.

feel sorry for you as 'dahn sarf' we have nice weather. The sun is shining and albeit it breezy y'day it was dry....
Thought I'd sit out and push out my free petunia plugs from their tray and pot them on......make up a couple of hanging baskets.....had to abandon jobs as I was being eaten alive by midges/gnats whatever they were! Head is covered with itchy bumps - itching even woke me up!

Today's plan...? Finish y'days task! With no extra bites!
