  • up too early

well the one day of the yaer your allowed an extra hour in bed, and guess who woke up at 5.30.
spent my time doing a new design and plan for the veg plot, very pleased with it. 6 year rotation, raised beds, and a bed for my nephews to dig and plant.
gotta get out there and start digging now.

anyone else use their extra hour for anything?

Sorry but I was boring and slept for the extra hour - most welcome as I haven't been sleeping well with the wet and windy weather!

Off out now to try and build the frame for my greenhouse so I can decide where it is going!!

Now you've planned your new layout Yoanbob, how long (and how much work!) is it going to take you to implement?

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Been for a drive, had a look around a local second hand place called "Bygone times", nipped to Tesco ( ) and am now putting 3rd lot of washing in machine........fancy taking Dexy out for a third walkies this pm (I can't say it outloud because he can spell that particular word and would want to go out this very second!)
Hope everyone else is having as productive a day as me! DDL

ooh well let me see, realistically 6 years.
no really hope to have half done this winter, other half next winter.
lots and lots of work, but the idea is that in the long run it will take less work to keep up with it. also depends on money. we have the house and the wedding to think about too so not much spare cash.
been out planting bulbs, been doing filling in bathroom, going to put my second wash on, then going out for a stroll, does dexter want to come?

For the first time since she was small enough to be put down and left there Miss E was the first dressed this am. Spent some time on the computer and went to Winchester farmer's market. Miss E now asleep so Mr E and I are in the garden. OK he is still in the garden digging holes to plant the swing and I've come back to the computer to post a couple of recipes and be distracted. Have to do things in chunks, bad ankle you know.

Tidyed up, then took the old lady over the road to the garden center for coffee.....Cor these OAPs can narf stuff the cake down...(and I thought I was a cake piggie). We found out yesterday that she han't been out in 6 weeks as she is on a new hip and her family are all overseas.

We got to park right next to the door and the boy had great fun wheeling her round in a chair.
