I ordered the one from ebay the syphon pump £3.49 incl posstage, on its way, just need to get some piping to reach the water butt. thank you so much glutton 4 punishment.
I'll let you know how i get on, its gotta be better than wasting the water or carrying it downstairs

ok a downfall, its arrived already and it didnt say size of piping on ebay, its very dinky, about 10mm across so need to find a pipe to fit and extend. it was only 3.50, but i want it to work!!!

Wrap some tape around the end of the pump until it fits the size of pipe you have.
