There are half-a-dozen (about) living near Andover, at the Hawk Conservancy. Great fun watching their display. There are perches scattered among the audience seats, and they fly across the audience (a bit clumsily, being yearlings).
Must be wonderful to see genuine wild ones!

The ones in Spain are actually quite a lot bigger. We have seen them soaring over roads on a sunny day. The sun on the tarmac creates a 'thermal' current to give them lift (and of course the road occasionally provides a meal).
