Raining,time to catch up with housework?

Oh well, better do some tidying in the house, it goes to the bottom of the list at this time of year! Better turn the computer off, or I'll sit and read Grapevine all morning.......maybe I'll do some of that too!

No housework for me [I did the OH's ironing the other day so got brownie points and we do have a cleaner so we tidy up the night before she comes], so going to continue with spreadsheets and talking to clients to arrange next week's visits.

And drink copious amounts of coffee. Naturally.

I knew it would rain this weekend as it is our village's open gardens this Sunday. Last year it absolutely tipped it down all weekend....I suspect the same this year. I'd like to be wrong though.

I desperately need to do the housework. Hoovering hasn't been done for 3 weeks this weekend and I need to get the vomit sponge out for those little patches created by Suzi that don't come up when I first pick up the vomit. Any volunteers?

I would,but a little worried the hoover might scare my babies,so maybe it can wait!....and as for the iron,well all that steam could be bad for them too!!!

Oh well, power went off two minutes after I'd posted that so couldn't hoover anyway. Went to do the food shop, power only just back on, computer didn't like the abrupt unexpected shutdown either, and I've had to mess about with my account to get back on here!
Oh well still raining so no excuse not to gat the hoover out......then I'll come back to the PC when its all done....yea,yea maybe inbetween times too!

Think how much electricity you could save if you didn't iron

I only ever iron clothes when I have to because I need to wear them, but if I'm sewing the iron is on constantly.

i cant do the housework today as the electrician is in and i have to test out my lovely new woodburner!Must keep an eye on it until i;m used to it.(think up more excuses)

I am working tonight but valiantly clearing out my workshop. There are tools and sawdust everywhere, add to that lots of kindling to bag up, bicycles to move and rubbish to bin, tis a bit of a pigsty but will be functioning again this afternoon.

Sounds very much like my thread last weekend, the wet, windy one! Sounds like the weather is going to be much the same this weekend - gosh! I cant stand two weekends doing housework! Help someone!

Just got the hoovering done, was going to have a look at Grapevine and power went off AGAIN and didn't come back on until 5.30!!
