I thought the skull cap was worse to be honest. Soon the all in one body suit which blows up like an airbag in case of scrapes and grases, will be available.

I know we don't want our children to hurt themselves, but if you don't get into little scrapes, how can you built up a sense of danger when you're older.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

Or natural immunity of your own immune system is never challenged. We got scrapes and swapped germs etc and lived to tell. Poor kids today come down with all sorts of tummy bugs because eveything is so sterile for them. Too far!

Just remembered what I got told if I ever said "I want". It was explained that "I want" was rude, and rudeness doesn't get results. "Please may I have...?" was a safer bet(although it wouldn't have worked for anything expensive).
        Manners still matter!

Tht reminds me Hilary - when Our Lad used to say "Can I have such and such?" I used to say "Please may I?" In true belt and braces manner he then started saying "Please may I can I have..."
