Chilli powder mistake!!

For a quick lunch I sometimes mix a tin of tuna with a little mayo and add some curry powder and stick it in a pitta with some salad.
Oh dear............just realised I've used chilli powder by mistake
Its a little fiery!
Just off to get a drink

Oops. Milk is best for reducing the fire. Then enjoy a nice yoghurt.

Too late! It wasn't TOO bad, just left a tingling mouth for a bit...had a yoghurt and all's well!

I must tell you about the time I visited my best mate down in the New Forest, with Drew and our mate Andy (about 20 years ago). Lorraine had made chilli con carne - we all tucked in with gusto! Bless her! She'd only put in extra hot chilli powder instead of normal - talk about blowing your socks off! I can still remember how hot it was........................being my best mate, we still remind her of this, all these years later!
