What about the James Mays Garden made of Plasticine what do you think of the Show so far?..

Why do exhibitors think that it has to be all arty-farty? Whats wrong with a good, old fashioned garding?

Only saw a snatch at my Ma's at lunchtime. Another vote for real gardens here. I won't comment till I've seen tonight's programme.

I have seen a little and finds May`s garden pathetic personally.

Yes he is trying something new but its not for me.A bit like the garden full of lollipops a few years back by Diarmid Gavin,its just a gimmick.

As a photographer who owns a holga and loves close ups of bright colours with the wide angle lens....I'd LOVE to photograph it.

but, as a gardener.....I'd prefer a bed of leeks and onions.

Why do the gardens have to have themes..?? why do they have to be about something, about someone, about someones battle against this and that..?

Why dont they just design a garden with plants in it..? That will live together and be reasonable to maintain...?


Finally... why is it so bloody expensive to get in..??

Saw something earlier about one of them being plants that are still in their seed cells ?? I think thats what it was and something about doing a wall with them ???? I may be wrong though.
