A Vegan doesn't eat or wear anything derived from animal origin.....depending on how "strict" could include not wearing silk.the fates lead him who will;him who won't they drag.

Now I wouldn't have known about honey. Since it is a surplus reserve 'stolen' from the bees, I am not sure quite WHY a vegan wouldn't use it. Very strict vegans won't even eat food that has been inside a kitchen used for preparing non-vegan food (includes a few I've met) which must make all sorts of things complicated for them.....Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

And then you get those annoying pretend vegetarians who don't eat meat except perhaps a bit of chicken and then fish is fine................ Upset a bloke at work who claims to be vegetarian but eats fish and white meat by pointing out that he wasn't really vegetarian, more just a bit faddy. He insists that he is vegetarian as "fish doesn't count". It really doesn't help.Last edited by Alison; 24-05-2009, 10:03 PM.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
