Tidy Seeds

With all the chaos in the GH and pots and trays etc I was looking for some calm and organisation.

Our local poundshop sells small envelopes intended for dinner money. I got a pack today 100 for £1 and have just got all my seeds in a more orderly manner.

The seeds I had acquired were in 4 tins. Veggies, salads, herbs and flowers. The contents were a bit muddled with half open pkts and old envelopes etc.
I have just got them all tidy in uniform envelopes that all stand up nicely with the original pkt with sowing info included with the new envelope.

Its great and so satisfying! Am I sad?

I'm sad too.

I spend hours with my seed basket, sorting the packets, looking at the pics, reading the blurb. I refer to it as 'Stroking my Seeds', lol.

I got some of them for a seed swap i am going to organise next year.

If I am in full on retentive mode I open the packet with a pair of scissors then any remaining seed goes into a mini pop seal bag and back in the packet.

Then they return to the heap of packets!
