For those of you who read about Sweetpea, our little prem kitten who died, you might like to know that her Mum Izzy has had two more kittens.
It was a bit of a trial for me, one baby was worryingly blue but starting breathing for himself so turned pink fairly quickly. The other was breech, but I managed to get a little finger in and bring his head out. Everything happened very quickly too!
Mum and babies are doing well. We've been worried about Izzy since she delivered the first two kittens over a week early, but she held onto these two until full term and is now being a proper mum to them.
The new babies are a good size and are feeding well, so fingers crossed they'll grow into big fluffy moggies too. We're giving Izzy the kitten milk that we got from the vet's for Sweetpea, it'll help build up (it says so on the can)
