I used to have a pot full of Paris Market carrots.
I say used to, as this morning my son obliterated the lot of them.
Not in the terrible way that you might think, but by FURTLING and pulling them all up... then eating them!
This is his first experience of gardening, and he is 2.10.
He is so proud of growing his veg. He's watched the carrots grow from seed, through to seedlings to the one he first pulled out this morning.
He then could not help himself (and nor did I want to curb his enthusiasm) and he picked every single one!!
At the sink in the kitchen we washed them together and I tried to get a pic of him holding them in his hands but before i'd pressed the button on the camera he'd eaten them! "it's gone daddy, it's in my tummy!" he proudly boasted!
So here are some picks of my boy, and if you're lucky, you might just catch a glimpse of carrot!
My personal favourite is the last feral one which is like something from Lord of the Flies, personally an experience I think my son would rule over...
