Congratulations Frostyfreckle. I know what you mean about karma. We looked for 4 1/2 years for a house, missed out on two in the process - cried buckets each time. Then in December we moved into the most perfect house there is (well for us anyway). These are the views we get everyday, still can't believe we live there. The phrase "what's for ye'll no go by ye" has never been more apt! Lang may yer lum reek.

That's sooo exciting Frosty I love Glasgow, for a visit... I would hate to be without the countryside around me for very long.

Best wishes for the move, and a happy life in your new home

I've only had a flying visit to Nevis GC, so will look forward to spending a decent amount of time there. The midges love me as well.

Re. midges: Avon Skin So Soft is the best thing I've ever used (ginger headed scot so eaten alive normally!), hardly bitten at all last time I was over in the west.

Allotmentlady I take it you have personal experience of pesky wabbits (I've never had to deal with wabbits- are they a major pest?) Literally just back from FW and it's a scorcher - the midges and wabbits were hiding from me today. I'm buying in more Avon SSS - it works Moving date is officially on Monday 8th of June (anyone want to help me pack) Photos will go on as soon as I have Broadband up and running.
