    Is it on tonight again?

Yep, 8pm UKTVFood I think! Cant wait to see what Charlie makes of his sowing, and looking forwards to seeing his toms!

Will give it another go and see how it goes. If he plants toms the way he planted the lettuce last night ...

Once you realise its a cookery programme with a little gardening thrown in its not to bad .I would rather watch HFW at the River Cottage as you get to see Hugh getting his sleeves rolled up and getting on with it.

lol didnt i tell you guys that his tomato planting was hilarious??...his admirers are growing daily which is ace. he has buckets of talent and is very approachable his garden does seem a tad posh for a beginner though lol my dads been gardening for years a nd its only now 30 years after moving into his house that his garden is begining to take shape...so i wonder how james managed to do that in 6months?!?!?

I think that is something to do with getting someone in at vast expense.

Could be EB, that was my thoughts, but they did show him working on the sleepers making the raised beds on Monday (or was that just for the cameras! lol!)

Would be lovely to have a garden as organised as that, but not on my wages, its all about as cheaply as possible on our plot, dont mind spending money, but as little as possible to do the job well!

Did I see cabbages growing behind James at one point, where did they come from?

My thoughts exactly. Even if I had that sort of money I would want to do it myself just for the satisfaction of a job well (I would hope) done.

Agreed EB! The sense of satisfaction seeing our plot now, with its crooked beds and barked up paths, freshly dug and covered beds, the free greenhouse all shiny after cleaning and the rasps now set up along a 30' run of wire is amazing! Just knowing we have done all that and without spending much dosh is great! And seeing the onions and garlic beginning to grow and knowing that only 7 weeks ago it was 8' deep in weeds really brings it home just what we have managed to do! Its a place where we both want to be for as much time as we can get!

Haven't seen this programme at all - been a bit hectic this week, best friend has just had a baby so have been helping her out - which nights is it actually on, can't find the TV mag to check. Never really watched anything with JM in, for all I know he may be an excellent cook but he's a bit too pretty boy for my taste visually!

                              Hi Alison
Its on UKTV Food at 8pm every week night I think, not sure about the weekend. Its quite funny, I know its not meant to be a comedy but its funny all the same.

Thanks Bex. Will have to work out where the UKTV Food channel is - I'm guessing it's hidden away with all the rubbish shopping channels etc somewhere up the top end of the listings.
