  • I was really impressed by his enthusiasm - that really came across and now I've had chance to watch all the progs, I think my first impressions were wrong. As said before, if you treat it as a cookery programme with gardening bits then its a good programme. Really enjoyed it, and enjoying watching the Yorkshire programmes (for the umpteenth time!) again. DDL

    • Shirley - I've not made my own but I did find a recipe on the web on a brownie/ girl guide website which I googled.

      • Have to say that he has grown on me too DDL, ok, there wasnt enough GYO for me, but he's a chef, and his food looks delish! I actually found his other prog where he's in Yorkshire cooking to be better, as it was just cookery, no pretensions on being a GYO prog! He did come over a bit flash in the first prog or 3, but later episodes he does seem to be more relaxed and more at home in his garden too!
