You can find all sorts of astronomical data in Reeds Nautical Almanac. It also lists lots of other things only of interest to sailors and it's not a bedtime book but very interesting non the less. It is published each year with up to date info.

Hells Bells, we have now got :UV,mirrors,4mins each way,RCN diaries,faces of the moon,lunatics,blankets,nautical almanacs, cor i'm out of breath.

As far as the veg is concerned I suppose the UV is for a suntan which it can look at in the mirrors but its only got 4mins to do it in and also write in its diaries while watching the face of the moon but keep a sharp eye out for lunatics while wrapped up in a blanket and sifting through an almanac to see if the tides in or out cos it could make a difference. No, dont tell me, I have to give the veg a general anesthetic before pulling it out of the ground or cutting it so I dont get accused of cruelty!!

Hi Skipper - I think it is great and now available on DVD! Even Miss E likes it, the original anarchic puppet show (as opposed to Punch and Judy which I have never seen). Must add that to my Christmas list.
