This is a long shot. Instead of trying to access the forum through your bookmark/favourite, try typing the full forum name into the box at the top of the page. Sorry I can't remember what it's called (URL or something).
Sent from my pc cos I don't have an i-phone.

Piskie, just out of interest, who is your Internet Service Provider?

Probably no effin use at all, but...

I use Google Chrome. If I can't load/access sommat, I go back to Firefox...
If all else fails, I try IE!

Feel free to ignore me, I know eff-all about stuff!

        Hope you get it sorted!

Gosh no wonder you are loosing the will to live those times are very slow.

Have you another computer that you can access that is running anything but Vista, this would be to test the ping command to see if its a network issue or just a Vista computer problem, if not can you try this, you need to have administrator priviligies:
Go back into the command prompt (Start > Run > type "cmd" without the quotes > press Enter), at the command prompt can you type:
"netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled" without the quotes > press enter and reboot your computer and test. This may not fix your issue but it needs doing just to eliminate a know issue.

Nice to hear from you again Piskie, even if it is only brief! Hope you get everything sorted out soon.
Reading Teb's instructions make me quite glad that I'm not technically minded, don't have to try to understand/remember all that stuff!
