It's gonna be hat today - damn hat!

When we got into the car this afternoon it was showing 38 and it had been parked in the shade. Checked about 15 minutes ago and it's still 30 on the terrasse.

We COULD do with a shower tonight to top up the water butts but no rain forcast until at least next Thursday so moving water butt water round tomorrow so it's all in the right place for the evening watering patrol

Ee by gum, aye remember wen we ad flags outside ower owse in Bultun. Ooo the excitment when tarmac appeared!

And in my childhood, a really hot sunny day (like today) was described as "the sun's cracking the flags!"

I can't figure out the weather. Was hot here today but met office says tomorrow will be max 22 but 'hotter than sat'... whaddya reckon guys, are our plans to go to the coast for a walk sensible?
