Was wondering earlier on in the week how you, pea and pod are doing. Glad to hear all is fine with pea and pod. Like Glutton I know nothing about pregnancies - can only emphasis put your feet up

Take it easy, take care, rest as much as you can - easy for me to say but maybe not so easy for you!
Sorry about the painful bits, so happy to hear from you though - you're in our thoughts.
Looking forward to hearing about the 20w scan.My hopes are not always realized but I always hope (Ovid)

I am 20 weeks today! - 1 week today till my 20 week scan (although its at 21 weeks - so will then only have 3 weeks not 4 till I can "breathe easier"!!) oooohh getting so so excited now!
I can honestly say with my hand on my heart I have been doing ALOT less. Just been keeping on top of the important thinks like washing and keeping kitchen clean - i.e. hygeine stuff. I have been trying to train the kids more too - biggest problem is Bashfull Bill cannot seem to listen to instructions or gets distracted very easily - been told its a boy thing - whatever it is it is very frustrating! THis am I was getting him to pick up some stray toys before I hoovered and each thing that was picked up he wanted to play with or look at. grrrrrrr!
I do think SPD is becoming more common - no idea why but more people seem to have heard about it this time around than 4 years ago when I was expecting and had it with BB. MW has said I can get some physio if I feel I need it but she did warn that the lady isnt a myracle worker - kinda put me off bothering. I have got a trip planned to zoo (cant recall which) in the summer holidays and I had already thought I might enquire about a wheelchair as I will have my friend Janet with me. That of course will only work if BB is good or she wont know what to do first; run after him or push me! LOL!!!
Mr D planted (with Joes help) the brassica bed on Saturday so all thats left to go in now is; Sweetcorn (had 80% success with my method featured in the mag ), peas (germinated in some drainpipe so should be dead easy), garlic (a bit late I know), sugarsnap (to be sown), yellow courgettes (optional as do have others on the go) and marrows. There are a few flowering plants but these wouldnt be too drastic if we didnt get them in as they are seed raised so didnt cost us much except in potting on time. I am praying for rain at the weekend, partly as the garden will need it but also so Mr D can feel its ok to get on with the final push towards clearing the spare room for the twins so that we can decorate. Trouble is unless its really heavy I know he will get distracted by the list of final things to go in above - ah well I am sure we will be ready on time - hope you all have your fingers crossed!!!
Enjoy the sunshine,
lots of love and kisses,Last edited by Finedon.Dandy; 01-06-2009, 11:01 AM.Tammy x x x x

The not so good news is that as well as being too busy/tired to be able to get on here as often as I like I now also have developed SPD (symphis pubis dysfuntion) which was I knew would be a fair certainty but not quite so early on. For those not in the know, pregnancy softens the ligaments in the body and if your pelvis tends to move too much or at an awkward angle, it becomes very painful. I avoided crutches or wheelchair last time and I intend to do so again - at least this time I dont live in a flat, up three flights of stairs. With good management the pain should remain manageble, even with the added weight and bulk of twins. I just have to be ladylike and keep my legs together (I know, I know...its a bit late for that LOL) but I have to do such tedious things as; get in the car by sitting and swinging both legs in together, get dressed whilst sitting down, go up stairs ONE at a time, avoid lifting or pushing and rest as much as possible - however bad the house gets - oh blow there was me going to change the weather by being a domestic goddess!!
The plot is taking shape at long last, thanks to some VERY hard work by Mr Dandy. Joe (the friend who helps us in the garden two hours a week) couldnt do his slot with us this week but offered to make the time up over the weekend. I was going to say he could have the week off but seeing as I am meant to be taking it even more easy and literally CANT do much to help now, we have asked him to help Mr Dandy on Saturday afternoon.
The best news though is Redthorns news, so pleased for him and his better half!
Will be in touch with more news as and when it develops,
Lots and lots and lots of love to you all, dear friends

Was thinking about you only yesterday and wondering how things were going for you. Twenty weeks eh, time will fly past now! Can't wait to hear how the scan goes, sooo exciting. I seemed to do nothing but go for scans when I was expecting mine, I wonder if you'll have lots too? Maybe things have changed in 12 years, they might not do so many now.
Pleased to hear you're managing to do as little as possible, well done - it's all very well us saying 'take it easy', but it's a darned site harder for you, especially with other littlies to take care of! Oh, I know all about that thing with boys, one of mine is almost as bad now, and he's nearly twelve! Best of luck with everything, and look forward to your next update....Life is brief and very fragile, do that which makes you happy.
