Supposed to be Really Hot Tomorrow!!!

    Even hotter than today!

And I'll be indoors all day, working, with no garden access. I do love my jib though, which is huge compensation.

Weather is set to be good all weekend which is good. On Sunday we're taking a leisurely drive up the Fosse Way, stopping at Bourton on the Water to check out a potential venue, then onto Thorpe Waterville and The Fox pub/restaurant.

My Bro has arranged to take my parents there in the evening for Mum's birthday celebration meal (b/day is Monday) and we're going to be sitting at the table when they get there to surprise my Mum.

Have got her some wildlife boxes for her garden as a present - butterfly house, mason bee house and insect house. Popped them all into a traditional trug instead of a gift bag.

Really looking forward to a bit of a break,

    Jules

Lots to do today as its holiday tomorrow and still have packing to do and all the moving of plants to their 'holiday spots'

Why, when there is soooo much to do, do I want to delay the doing?

            Bah, Humbug.
Sitting indoors with the curtains drawn and a fan wafting over a bowl of ice, if it gets any worse I'll play 'Do they know it's Christmas?' repeatedly and pretend it isn't happening

SOoooooooo glad I am not alone (although you sound even worse than me<g>)!
OH makes remarks about 'bad weather' when I am finding it, "quite OK ta" and "what a lovely day" when it is too hot to do anything!
I LIKE shade (including cloud shade) as long as it isn't raining too hard, or blowing a gale. I only enjoy sunshine when I can see the effects without being IN it!

Too hot for me - I hate it when its hot - don't know why I'm moaning we've had another week of rain up here in Argyll. I'm as crabbit as hell and can't be ar*sed doing anything. Up at 7 this morning - watering the poor little plants before it got too hot - just home from Oban and poor little b*ggers are wilting.

The title of this thread reminds me of a poem I can half-remember, something about "I know these days my youth is spent, because my 'get up and go' has got up... and went!"
