I'm not saying Stavros F were great - but they did put me in right good humour!

I agree with you too about Susan B - a very good singer yes but she was possibly
      over hyped as you said.

Stavros Flatley has got talent, you have to be talented in order to make millions of people laugh. They are everyday people short, fat and hilarious making other laughs.

        I voted Stavros.

We watch the initial auditions - just because it's funny watching disillusioned people making an @rse of themselves.

Agree that the whole Susan Boyle thing was over-hyped. Part of her initial success was that she walked on stage and looked a bit "special" and everyone expected her to be another strange member of society who thought they could sing. However, she could sing - but that was it.

As to who won - couldn't give a monkeys.

At least there's Big Brother to look forward to.

          Then X-Factor

          Then Britain's Got More Talent

          Then TV's Funniest Parking Attendants

          Then Celebrity Love Disinterest

I'd heard/read that she was classed mentally unstable anyway - before Britain's Got Talent.

Incidentally - shouldn't it be Britain Has Talent?

Well I think you're all a load of party poopers!!!
Got to admit it isn't normally my cup of tea,but DD got really into it,so we watched most shows.Yep,some(maybe most)weren't particularly good, but some were great.
Diversity(for all you poopers...they won!)IMHO are a really talented bunch of lads & I was really pleased they won and I'm sure they're not sat at home thinking what a waste of time programme it was.
As for Susan Boyle...I really do feel for her & wonder if she really should have been on the show in the first place, but imagine the uproar if the judges/producers had refused to let her through because she possibly had mental health issues...the PC brigade would have been down on them like a tonne of bricks!

Anyway...other than all the above,it was a mighty fine distraction whilst awaiting the return of BB!!!
the fates lead him who will;him who won't they drag.

Happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you have.xx

i just don't watch it much these days....until there is a Seinfeld 24 hour channel, I won't be starting any time soon.

I was watching The Apprentice and Gardener's World...but no longer [well, maybe a brief glance and App finishes next week]. I have recorded Flight of the Concordes and will sit down one day and watch them in batches...and I will watch Dragon's Den when it is back.

When we were over in the States a few weeks ago, Susan Boyle was all over the TV....every news programme for the full week and in all the papers.

It's no wonder she is in rehab. I do feel for her.

I saw part of the 'semi' when Stavros was 'performing' and from then on had no interest in watching the final. Whilst all the father-son bonding is very nice, I couldn't help but think that the kid needed some tough love and less chocolate and chips.

I imagine Susan Boyle was just overwhelmed by everything. They were saying on the radio that the media had suddenly turned against her. Poor woman!

I did see the Diversity routine on the news and am thankful that some talent did actually win through!

Saw about 5 mins of a couple of the heats which showed me some over weight woman with her t*ts out which was quite disturbing while I was having my tea and on a much better note, I also caught the eventual winners and was impressed. S Boyle is not my sort of thing but she can hold a note. The media hype was ridiculous and would have been difficult to handle for anybody. Happened to turn the TV on on Saturday night after they'd all done their acts and they recap it all. Was amazed that a novelty act like Stavros whatever they're called had got through, no talent what so ever and wanted to reach for the mute button when the small precotious (sp) child was singing. Didn't feel like I'd missed much and was glad that I'm not normally wanting to watch TV when such programmes are on.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
